Using an Advanced Gateway in parallel with a BMS integration and Annunciator. The Advanced Gateway uses Modbus to connect to most generator controllers. Typically, the gateway will connect using the RS-232 or RS-485 serial port that is also used by Building Management Systems (BMS) and Annunciators. Topics listed in this section provide connection schematics for using these devices together.
