Version 3 - GL899 Aftermarket Parts Breakdown

Starting in 2026, the below part numbers will be the standard aftermarket hardware available for Generac Link. With the release of this new hardware, the Generac Link Gateway now comes with 3 harnessing options that can be purchased based on the connections required for a specific piece of equipment. Part information for the gateway device and harness are available below along with the wiring diagrams for each harness type for customers that choose to run their own wire. Hardware installation guides for many of the controllers that Generac Link supports are below and will indicate the harness parts recommended for each installation to help with ordering.

Includes components needed for basic connectivity for cellular, GPS, and Modbus TCP based installations. Does not include fuse protection or pre-wired harness for ease of installation.

Created for support of serial comms based installations. A more streamlined kit that limits unnecessary relay and wiring if it is known that all monitoring can be supported via serial modbus or CANbus integrations.

Includes all components needed for serial modbus or CANbus installations including pre-wired harnesses for power and communication connections, CAN terminating resistor, RS232 to RS485 converter, magnets for mounting, and Generac Power Zone Pro Sync display and gateway terminals.
