System Maintenance: July 3, 2024
Wednesday morning, July 3rd, 2024, the MiraLink platform will be undergoing maintenance for up to two hours, starting 0800 EDT, as back-end optimizations are implemented.
We’ve also resolved an issue that resulted in asset count inconsistencies. This may have occurred when viewing generator details then navigating to the Site Summary with the URL in Google Chrome. With this fix, a browser refresh should no longer be required when there are multiple assets.
We recommend briefly holding off on any site deployments during this brief maintenance window.

Our backend system for the Site Deployment tool is scheduled for maintenance this Friday from 08:00 until 10:00 EDT. We recommend avoiding any site commissioning on MiraLink, formerly ViewIT, during this brief window. We appreciate your understanding.

The Self Deployment Wizard, designed to streamline asset connectivity in industrial power applications, will be enhanced to fully support factory-installed, Advanced Gateway units starting this Friday by default.
The Advanced Gateway uses Modbus to connect to most generator controllers. Additional requirements, steps, and schematics are listed in our Advanced Topics section.

Our efforts to support IoT workflows for industrial assets continually involve fine tuning the customer journey for clients across a growing number of North American installations. New features—both intuitive and seamless to the customer experience—are described in this announcement.

Enhanced Customer Support Portal
We are excited to rollout enhancements to our customer support portal! This transition is part of ongoing efforts to provide a more secure, collaborative, and streamlined journey. You’ll notice both a revamped knowledge base and a new ticket system, allowing you to submit troubleshooting tickets or monitor the status of an issue. Also, be sure to check back for system announcements and for other platform updates.
Administration of Site Deployment Permissions
Some of our channel partners will see a Site Deployment permission nested under a user selected by the Administrator. In order for a user to enlist a new Site, this permission must be toggled on. Once enabled, the user can take the quick and intuitive steps to connect an industrial generator and associated equipment in order to monitor vitals using telemetry, reports, and more.
